Apple officially launched a new sale called "Double Features" in iTunes Store, offering two related HD films in a bundle for $9.99 only. It's undoubtedly good news to movie lovers as it's a great way for them to expand their digital film collections at a much cheaper price, which was typically sold at $10+ each.
What to Know about "Double Features" Movie Sale
The movies included in iTunes "Double Features" sale are either part of a series, the original and rebooted versions of the same movie, the same genre, or include the same actors. Before this special sale was launched, the bundles of such films were priced between $19.99 and $27.99. That's to say, you can now add two HD movies to your iTunes library with just the price of one. That's definitely a big deal for movie fans. In addition to HD, there are also two movies offered in 4K in these bundles. They are TMNT: Out of the Shadows and Magic Mike XXL. In fact, in last December's year-end iTunes sale, Apple already introduced special bundles of some 4K HDR movies starting at $19.95 only based on studios and genres.
